I am a Digital CAS Surface Modeller with extensive experience delivering concept through to A-Class surfacing for major automotive OEMs.
Most recently, I have worked with Royal Enfield Motorcycles in Lutterworth, producing A-Class exterior surfaces for a proposed 250cc sports motorcycle.
Previously, I was a long-term contractor at Nissan Design Europe in London, working across multiple interior and exterior programmes. I collaborated daily with Design Managers, Studio Engineers, CAS Leads and Senior Designers, and represented Digital CAS in international project reviews with teams in the UK, France, India and Japan. I also acted as agency lead (Optic Group), briefing and checking contractor deliverables to ensure studio quality.
I specialise in Autodesk Alias, using both NURBS and Sub-D workflows to support every stage of development — from early sketch-based concept volumes to production-ready tooling surfaces. While automotive design is my focus, I also have experience in film, fine art and industrial product modelling.
My background includes apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Industrial Design. Earlier in my career, I provided a complete design-to-manufacture service as a freelance consultant, supporting global suppliers and production teams. Since 2006, I have worked exclusively in automotive surfacing.
